Our committed volunteers make a difference! Volunteer opportunities are available for class instructors, mentors, committee service, fundraising, and more! 

1. Use your professional experience to teach a class that will help a woman gain a new job skill and see her worth.
2. Mentor a girl in middle or high school
3. Help fill backpacks with important school supplies
4. Volunteer at our annual backpack or toy giveaways
5. Volunteer at a fundraising event
6. Distribute information about Heather Hopes, Inc. at a community event
7. Serve on a committee

Your generous, tax-deductible financial and in-kind gift provides much needed support for programs and events that help women and girls. 

Because of our generous donors, we have been able to serve 2,625 women by providing:

• life skills classes that equip women with the skills they need to walk a new path Iife. 
• - transportation to drug and mental health treatment facilities
• - one-time utility assistance in times of crisis.
• - backpacks filled with living essentials and toiletries, school supplies ranging from pencils to scientific calculators for their children.

In addition, because of donor support, we have been able to provide over 20 fieldtrips and activities for girls of incarcerated parents and their mentors.

Sponsorship opportunities are available and welcomed!  Individuals, churches, and companies can join us in helping women and girls by sponsoring:

•  A special event (mother/daughter retreat, backpack giveaway, symposiums and workshop, college and career day, job fair, guest speaker honorarium, etc._
• A field trip for girls and their mentors (transportation for college tours, museums tours, conferences, etc.)
• A program completion luncheon or holiday luncheon
